Turn Off Pop-up Blocker |
To use the IDEALx, you must Turn Off Pop-up Blocker in your browser.
Note By default, Pop-up Blocker is enabled.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0 for Windows
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Privacy tab at the top of the Internet Options window.
- Click to clear Block pop-ups to turn Pop-up Blocker off.
- Click OK to save and Close the window.

Add IDEALx to Trusted Site |
To use the IDEALx, you must Add IDEAx to Trusted Site.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0 for Windows
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Security tab at the top of the Internet Options window.
- Select Trusted Site.
- Click to Sites to add trusted site.
- Enter IDEALx URL(Ex:http://idealx), No need to enter Port Number.
- Uncheck the Option "Require server verification(https:) for all sites in this zone".
- Click Add to add trusted site.
- Click OK to save and Close the window.

Enabling JavaScript |
To use the IDEALx, you must enable JavaScript in your browser.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0 for Windows
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Security tab at the top of the Internet Options window.
- Select the Internet zone by clicking the world icon.
- Click the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down to Scripting and Active scripting and click the Enable radio button.
- Click OK to save and close each window.
Mozilla Firefox
- Select Options from the Tools menu.
- Select the Content options by clicking the world icon.
- Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
- Click OK to save and close the window.
Safari for Macintosh
- Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
- Click the Security tab by clicking the lock icon.
- Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
- Close the window.

Enabling ActiveX |
ActiveX is required for the use of the Export Excel in the IDEALx.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 for Windows
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Security tab at the top of the Internet Options window.
- Select the Internet zone by clicking the world icon.
- Click the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down to ActiveX controls and plug-ins section.
- Click the Enable radio button for both Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins and Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.
- Click OK to save and close each window.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 for Windows
While you should not need to enable ActiveX if you use Internet Explorer 7.0, you will need to add the IDEALx to your trusted sites.
